Background
Rebecca Zacuto is a Program Manager for the Office of International Medicine Programs (IMP) at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. In her role, she manages the Global Health Scholarly Concentration and the International Clinical Electives Program and works primarily with outgoing GW medical students and incoming international medical students.
Rebecca joined IMP in August 2024, after completing a year-long fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute. She is originally from the Los Angeles area, but lived in New Orleans for over five (5) years. There, she received her Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Health Education and Communication from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
