Introduction
The Office of International Medicine Programs (IMP) provides opportunities for medical students from GW to enrich and diversify their medical education in a different physical and social setting. IMP has developed a diverse network of international partners, essentially creating an exchange program, which has allowed hundreds of GW and international medical students to benefit from these international electives since 2005.
To participate, students must have completed all of their core clinical clerkships with GW SMHS and be aware of the GW SMHS’ Policies and Procedures for International Experiences and Electives.
